Before adopting his stage name, Marky Ramone, Mark Steven Bell played the drums on one of the most iconic albums of the 70s, ‘Blank Generation’ by Richard Hell & the Voidoids. In 1978, however, Mark joined thé cultural phenomenon of the American 70s: the magical and brilliant band Ramones. From then on he obtained an absolute legend status and he became known as Marky Ramone. The drum intro of ‘Rock ’n’ roll high school’? That was Marky! As the only living member of the band he now tours the world with Marky Ramone’s Blitzkrieg, firing an epic collection of Ramones songs off at the audience almost faster than they can absorb it. So don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to go wild on the songs of this legendary band on our punk rock day on Tuesday 6 August.
