Lokerse Feesten 2020 has been cancelled.

Following the decision of the Security Council we have cancelled the 46th edition of the Lokerse Feesten.

The festival will be postponed to 30 July until 8 August 2021. The tickets for the 2020 edition will automatically be converted into a discount voucher with the same value as the ticket purchased. With this discount voucher, you can freely choose which day you want to come in 2021 or 2022: the amount you have already spent can be used in full for a purchase in 2021 or 2022.  This voucher is valid for two years and can be used for any future online purchase.

Hope.

Despite the unfavourable predictions, hope kept us going these last few weeks preparing for the festival season. Crossing fingers, burning candles, all in the hope that you would soon be able to wash and dance away the lockdown spring at the Grote Kaai with a fantastic line-up.

Bewilderment.

But hope has turned to bewilderment. Bewilderment because we have to fight against an invisible enemy who – for the time being – silences us. Something we could never have imagined happening. But rest assured, we’ll be back.

Respect.

Respect for the experts who have to make these decisions with only our health in mind. And although it’s hard to cope with, we do accept it, because we know it’s in the best interest of us all.

Thank you.

A big thanks to the many ticket holders who, despite the predictions, continued to look forward to a beautiful summer. You will all soon be contacted by e-mail regarding your ticket or combi-ticket. Please be patient, so that we can give you the correct guidelines.

We also want to thank our co-workers, partners and suppliers. Together we can already map out the route to next year’s edition.

The 46th edition of our festival will not take place in 2020, but in 2021. Fucking hell, we’re so looking forward to it!
