ARTICLE 3

The safety of our visitors, staff and local residents remains an absolute priority for the Lokerse Feesten organisers.

Our safety procedures are reviewed and updated annually in close collaboration with the city council, the police and the emergency services. Based on recent insights and events, existing measures are continually refined and expanded where necessary.

Upon entering the site, all visitors may be subject to a superficial security check. By entering the site, visitors consent to this check and are expected to cooperate. Bags and rucksacks are permitted, but must be opened spontaneously for inspection. The contents may be visually inspected by security staff. The organisers aim for a smooth and efficient entry procedure and therefore request the cooperation of all visitors.

The organisers reserve the right to:

  • verify the visitor’s age using any document proving their age
  • ask the visitor to empty the pockets of their clothing
  • ask the visitor to open and/or empty handbags and other bags
  • to carry out electronic surveillance using cameras that track and record visitors’ movements.

Practical tips to ensure a smooth entry process:

  • Come to the event travelling as light as possible
  • Bring only essential items
  • Avoid bringing bags and rucksacks where possible

We would like to thank all visitors for their understanding, respect and cooperation. Together, we can ensure a safe, enjoyable and unforgettable festival experience.
