PYO
Pyo is the musical project of Brussels-based artist Karel Piot, who combines modern post-punk with the dark new wave sounds of the 1980s. Inspired by artists such as Ekkstacy, Mareux and The Haunted Youth, he creates a unique retro cyberpunk universe.
With direct, introspective lyrics and a distinctive sound, he managed to amass over 1.5 million streams in his debut year. His energetic live shows have made an impression in Belgium, France, South Korea and Japan. Today, Pyo is regarded as one of Belgium’s most promising post-punk acts and a rapidly rising name on the international scene.
