SUSTAINABILITY & INCLUSION

Our festival is not only about music and fun, it’s also about caring for one another and for our planet. We take concrete steps to reduce our impact and strengthen our community. Together, we make a difference.

ECOLOGICALLY RESPONSIBLE

We are strongly committed to sustainability, today and tomorrow.

- Reusable cups and food containers reduce waste on the festival grounds.

- We encourage visitors to come by bike, shuttle bus, public transport, or carpooling.

- Sustainable food options are available on-site.

- Through a mobility study, we ensure improved traffic flow around the festival.

A FESTIVAL FOR EVERYONE

We believe in the power of connection. Our festival is for everyone and that is reflected in how we operate:

- Around 1,000 volunteers, including people from vulnerable groups, help make the festival possible.

- Through Companie Cordial, non-native newcomers get the opportunity to practice Dutch and find their place in society.

- Residents of Alderande, a residential care facility for people with support needs, volunteer behind the scenes.

- Our annual “Leukste Namiddag” is a free party especially for people with physical or mental disabilities and their caregivers.

- At the Rock ’n Rolstoel stage, we provide adapted seating for wheelchair users and people with specific needs.

- Through the We Care A Lot initiative, we strive to be a place where everyone feels welcome.
