CONDITIONS CASHLESS

Lokerse Feesten 2024 (the “Festival”) is a cashless festival.

These specific terms and conditions regarding cashless payments (“Cashless Terms and Conditions”) apply which can be purchased at the Festival through the website www.lokersefeesten.be and charged to the Lokerse Feesten Card for spending on the Festival grounds on food and beverages, among other things, and all cashless payments related to the Festival. The Cashless Conditions apply in addition to the general terms and conditions of the Festival (the “General Conditions”) and, unless otherwise expressly stated, all definitions and references in these Cashless Conditions refer to definitions and references in the General Conditions. In the event of any inconsistency as it relates to the purchase and use of Coins and cashless payments in relation to the Festival, these Cashless Terms shall prevail.

1. Cashless - general

1.1 'Cashless payments' is the payment method used at the Festival. The Festival organizer reserves the right to allow other payment methods, such as cash payments and/or payments via other electronic devices.

1.2 Euro is the official currency at the Festival. Festival visitors can purchase euros through the cashless system by an online top-up via the Lokerse Feesten website or a top-up at the Festival. The cash amount is then activated on the Lokerse Feesten Card.

1.3 The Festival Organizer cannot be held liable if the cashless system does not work, is not flawless or only works partially during the Festival. In such a case, the Festival Organizer shall provide a back-up scenario for Festival visitors, for example by providing payment tokens.

1.4 A fee of a 1.5 Euro is charged for the activation of a card.

2. Cashless - disputes, support and refunds

2.1 Top-up transactions

2.1.1 All disputes regarding online top-up transactions must be reported immediately to info@lokersefeesten.be. Complaints regarding online transactions will be accepted up to three months after the end of the Festival. Festival visitors are requested to attach appropriate supporting documentation and evidence when communicating with the Festival Organizer.

2.1.2 Festival visitors must both report disputes regarding top-up transactions occurring at the Festival to a cashless customer service point at the Festival, and send them by email to info@lokersefeesten.be. The Festival Organizer reserves the right to reject disputes if no evidence or documentation related to the dispute has been submitted. Festival attendees can track top-up transactions through their online cashless account.

2.2 Other Transactions.

All other transaction disputes should be reported to the cashless customer service point at the Festival as soon as possible.

2.3 Support in case of loss or theft of the value

2.3.1 The Festival organizer cannot be held liable for theft or loss of the cashless support (cashless card) on which the amounts in Euros are topped up after such support is delivered to the Festival visitor.

2.3.2 In case of loss or theft, Festival visitors can deactivate their cashless support via their online cashless account or by visiting a cashless customer service point at the Festival.

2.4 Refunds

2.4.1 With the exception of bonus Euros and Euros preloaded by the Festival Organizer, Euros can only be refunded after the end of the Festival. Therefore, the Festival Organizer will not refund any Euros during the Festival (even if a Festival Visitor is denied entry to the Festival).

2.4.2 All refunds are subject to a minimum refund value, which will be communicated to the Festival Visitor (at www.lokersefeesten.be) as soon as Euros can be purchased.

2.4.3 All refunds involving Euros (regardless of the transaction method, online or at the Festival) must be actively requested by the Festival Visitor. There will be no automatic refunds.

2.4.4 Refunds can be requested until September 14th CEST. Refund requests submitted after this date will not be considered.

2.4.5 The Festival Organizer aims to start the refund process within seven working days of the end of the registration period for these refunds. This timing is subject to possible delays beyond the control of the Festival Organizer. Refunds will be issued in accordance with the payment method specified by the Festival Visitor in the 'manual refund form'.

2.4.6 As refunds are processed individually, there is a minimum processing time between the notification of the cashless system and the effective payment. This processing time will take approximately five banking days. The Festival Organizer cannot be held liable within this minimum processing time. The processing time depends on the refund method chosen.

2.4.7 Festival Visitors are responsible for providing the correct refund information to the Festival Organizer. If Festival Visitors do not provide the Festival Organizer with the correct information, the Festival Organizer reserves the right not to execute the refund.

2.4.8 The Festival Organizer reserves the right to refuse refunds if there is a strong suspicion of fraud, for example - but not only - due to excessive refunds of cups in relation to drinks purchased.

3. Third party service providers

3.1 The Festival cashless payment system is offered to Festival visitors with the support of 2 suppliers/payment providers: The cashless system supplier and payment provider.
